Microscope Gallery presents the works of emerging artists to pioneers in film, video, sound, new media, performance and other time-based arts. For Fountain NYC 2012, it is featuring drawings, paintings, photography, lightboxes, QR code technology, and video by Peggy Ahwesh, DataSpaceTime (Ray Sweeten & Lisa Gwilliam), James Fotopoulos, Su Friedrich, Marni Kotak, Jonas Mekas, Joel Schlemowitz, Allison Somers, and Nick Zedd. Kotak who gave birth as a performance at the gallery will also be performing live and releasing the first photos and video of the “Birth of Baby X”. Microscope Gallery is located in the Bushwick area of Brooklyn.
