Fountain Collaborates with Living Walls for Street Art Installation

Fountain Art Fair is delighted to announce a collaboration with non profit street art champions Living Walls, to take place during Art Basel Miami Beach, December 6th to 9th.  Fountain and Living Walls welcome a strong collection of the world’s most renowned street artists for a 175 ft long installation, all contained within the fair’s 5000 square foot lawn.  Montreal-based art crew, En Masse, will be a feature project as they produce a weekend long, site specific install to compliment the garden entrance.

Living Walls is an Atlanta based nonprofit arts organization that aims to transform perspectives toward public space utilizing street art.  Through their series of programs and initiatives, they’ve gone beyond simply just showcasing art, but effectively building a platform for much-needed dialogue within the city.

Returning to Miami for its 7th year, Fountain Art Fair transforms 19,000 square foot warehouse, with concrete floors and 16 foot ceilings, providing an interactive space to inspire art enthusiasts. With an extensive lineup of unique, alternative art projects, performance art events and music  Fountain is a dynamic environment far from traditional boundaries and old fashion art fair layouts. Fountain is where visitors are not mere observers, but become part of the community and participate in the unforgettable art experience that is Fountain. With 42 exhibitors from around the world, Miami’s 2012 edition will provide a visual display of installation heavy artworks, a true spectacle for art enthusiasts to enjoy.
